When I first saw the Zinnia flower, I was in awe of its center. It took me quite some time to muster the courage to attempt to recreate this beautiful flower in paper. Once I began, the beauty of it unfolded, little by little. So many tiny parts layering to create a center that draws you in to study its details. A true beauty I will return to again and again.
The Zinnia flower is handcrafted from Italian crepe paper and coloured with various techniques to achieve lifelike qualities.
