As a flower lover, you look forward to the summer season when the peonies are in full bloom. There is no other flower that carries as much romance and beauty in all its varieties and forms. But they are fleeting, their beauty only appreciated for a short while, until they are a sweet memory...until now.
We will capture the essence of the peony flower by reproducing her dancing, billowing petals in paper. Working with premium crepe papers from Italy, Catherine will guide you through the process of creating an organic and realistic representation of this gorgeous bloom for you to enjoy for years to come*.
What better way to enjoy the floral offerings of late spring than to hand select blooms in the gardens of Country Cut Flowers. Pick your own fresh arrangement to take home with you, and slip your paper bloom in the arrangement and fool them all 😊 Light refreshments will be served.
All materials are included; however we ask that you please bring a sharp pair of scissors for the workshop (or purchase on site for an additional charge). No prior experience is necessary.
Catherine Oxley is the artist behind BOUQ Paper Flowers. Based in Canada, Catherine has over 25 years in the fashion, television and film industry. * The peony variety for the class will be selected closer to the actual date of the workshop.

What should I expect for this workshop?
This 3 hour tutorial will take you through the creation of a Peony flower from crepe paper.This will be a fun and interactive experience where we can all chat and ask questions while we work. I'm looking forward to meeting each and every one of you!
What should I bring?
Please bring a pair of sharp scissor with you for the workshop. Scissors will be available on site for purchase at an additional charge of $27 + HST (these are the brand I use for all my projects!) All other materials will be provided to you to make your flower, plus extras to make an additional flower at home.
Can I get a refund if I change my mind or can no longer make it?
Unfortunately we cannot issue refunds for enrollment. Please ensure that you are able to attend at the given date/time before you purchase. You are welcome to pass along to a friend or family member if you are unable to make it yourself.
